Rear wheel laced and ready to be trued.
Amazingly, I didn't have to tear this one apart to start over even once!
It's amazing for two reasons,
- I'm generally incompetent
- 2. A rear wheel uses two different lengths of spokes; drive side & non- drive side. This is due to the amount of "dish" required to keep the center of the rear hub in line with the center line of the bike. If I'm going to screw something up, give me two mis-matched parts and a lack of clear instructions, turn me loose and watch the "magic" happen. Again, amazingly, the dish is correct before tuning!
I'm off to buy powerball tickets, just in case!
